Ser abogada, la siguiente meta en la que ya trabaja Kim Kardashian

La esposa de Kanye West habló para la revista Vogue Estados Unidos sobre una de las decisiones más importantes de su vida y una de las situaciones que la motivaron a tomar ese camino en su formación profesional: el caso de Alice Marie Johnson.

Como se ha de recordar, Kim Kardashian abogó con fuerza por Alice, una mujer que había permanecido en la cárcel por más de dos décadas después de ser sentenciada por un cargo por drogas no violento.

Con confianza en que el sistema de clemencia puede ser distinto y en que ella puede tener la capacidad de defender a las personasque ya han pagado sus deudas con la sociedad, Kim decidió empezar a estudiar para ser abogada.

Aunque pudo aportar en la liberación de Alice, quien fue indultada en junio pasado por Donald Trump para poder salir de prisión, la famosa empresaria reconoció que debía aprender más sobre leyes.

«La casa blanca me habló para aconsejar y ayudar en el cambio del sistema de clemencia. Y estoy sentada en la sala Roosevelt con un juez que ha sentenciado a criminales y con muchísimas personas muy poderosas, y solo me senté ahí, como, oh mier***. Necesito saber más. Habría dicho lo que tenía que decir, acerca del lado humano y por qué esto es muy injusto. Pero tenía abogados conmigo que podían respaldar esto con todos los hechos del caso».

«Nunca es una persona la que realiza las cosas, siempre es un colectivo de personas, y siempre he sabido mi rol, pero solo sentí que quería ser capaz de pelear por las personas que han pagado sus deudas con la sociedad. Solo sentí que el sistema podía ser tan diferente, y quise pelear para arreglarlo. Y si sabía más, podía hacer más”, relató Kardashian.

La famosa explicó que se forma como abogada a través de una firma de abogados en San Francisco, una modalidad que le permite adquirir el conocimiento sin tener que acudir a sesiones en una universidad.

Frente a todo el aprendizaje que le espera, Kim Kardashian espera alcanzar su grado de abogada en 2022, para así cumplir su objetivo de hacer un cambio.
